Halo’s Line of Flavored E-liquids
We received a sample of 7 different E-liquids from a representative over at Halo, and this was our first sample of Halo E-liquid flavors. What we often find in this industry is that flavors are often just fancy names printed on the containers to make it seem like a company offers more options than they really do. These flavors will taste very similar and be almost indistinguishable from each other. This was NOT the case with Halo’s E-liquids, where we found all of the flavors to be hearty and unique. With the first puff of each flavor, it was obvious that they were USA-made and of the highest quality. There was none of that chintzy vapor that you often get with Chinese-made E-liquids. We are picky when it comes to which E-liquids we will consume, and we are happy to report that we would use Halo’s E-liquids any day of the week.
A few flavors in particular really provided a full and tasty vapor; cola, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. These flavors were not only unlike anything we’ve tried before, but they were all unique and distinguishable from each other. When we have an experience like this, we can certify that it is a USA-made E-liquid and will prove completely satisfactory to any e-cig smoker.

Halo G6’s True 21st Century Technology
Halo G6 is a great device in large part because of the forward-thinking involved in its creation. This device utilizes poly-fill cartomizers, the type of cartomizer that you can refill with e-liquids. The biggest issue with these poly-fill cartomizers is that they easily burn, forcing the user to constantly monitor that the filler is kept saturated with e-liquid. If not wet, the filler will begin to burn. However, in all of our tests with the Halo G6, we have no experienced burning. Their website attributes this to new technology that they call the “Flameguard”. This is a huge plus, considering the awful taste of burned filler that is an issue with other brands. With the Halo G6, you can avoid this unpleasant experience and simply enjoy a rich, flavorfal vapor. Additionally, the Halo G6 moves away from having the “heating coil” in the middle of the cartomizer. The heating coil is the tool that creates the vapor out of your e-liquid, and its placement is important to ensure the richest and most satisfying vapor. Instead of keeping the coil in the middle like most cartomizers in its class, the Halo G6 team placed the wire and coil at the base of the device. This is called a “bottom-coil cartomizer” and it is generally considered to be the most advanced type. It minimizes interference of airflow and provides more consistent heating of your e-liquid. With this bottom-coil technology, your vapor becomes smoother to draw and richer to inhale.
Halo Cigs G6 Battery Life
Asides from the bottom-coil cartomizer technology, Halo has revamped their battery technology in the G6 model. They offer a lot of battery life compared to previous generations of the KR808D-1 batteries of similar size. On their site they state that they are using a new technology called “Infiniglow”, and it supposedly allows for longer battery life. And indeed, we found that the Halo G6 e-cig certainly has a longer battery life than previous generations of Halo e-cigs. We think that if you were going out for the night and brought along your Halo G6, you would have a functioning e-cig for the entire night on the town. If you have experimented with other brands like Blu cigs, Green Smoke, Luci, v2 Cigs or Vapor4Life than you will definitely be impressed by the Halo G6 and how long the battery lasts between charges.
Halo is able to accomplish this longer battery life by revamping how the lithium ion battery is used as you smoke. First, they regulate the battery so that it maintains an even charge that won’t drain your battery quickly. The coolest part is that they have improved the “internal switch”, which works to get rid of unintended battery drain that occurs when you’re not even using your e-cig. All in all, this leads to probably one of the best KR808D-1 batteries on the market, and you will not be disappointed with the battery life in the Halo G6.

Quality, Technology and Design: 10/10
We really loved the feel of the Halo G6 in general, it really was a comfortable device to hold and operate. The battery is very well-sized, not feeling bulky or enormous in your hands, but really feeling just right. We also liked the amount of color options and the flashy style of the Halo G6, especially the cool texture of the device that tops it all off. Also, the packaging that comes with the device consists of a gorgeous tin, which lets you know that you have purchased a quality product right off the bat.
Battery Life: 9/10
The Halo G6 certainly will not die on you at the worst possible moments. We found the battery life to be around 2 ½ hours, which is a long time for a product of this type and price range. If you are a casual smoker, 2 batteries will typically last you the entire day. This is nothing to sneer at, and the Halo G6 certainly steps up the battery technology from previous models.
HALO CIGS: Throat Hit: 8/10
We sampled a 6mg cartomizer with the Halo G6 and found the throat hit to be not overwhelming, though not particularly strong either. If you want a throat hit that isn’t harsh or overpowering, than this is certainly a good option for you. For those looking for stronger throat hits, you can look at larger strengths of cartomizers; Halo offers cartomizers that go up to 16mg in strength. Of course you can always use different brands of e-liquid that are easy and convenient to use with the G6’s Easy-Refill Cap.

Additionally, we can verify that they are E-liquids of the highest USA-made quality and certainly won’t disappoint you.

After our full review of Halo’s G6 e-cig, it is safe to say that this is one the highest quality e-cig devices for the price. From their beautiful design and feel to their usability to their variety of flavors, this device is perfect for most e-cig smokers.
